You should get your Groupon on!
I've been a member for the past few months & I've gotten a few great deals.
I bought 3 Laser Hair Removal Groupon for $100 each which gives me 6 treatments of the underarm or other small areas, or 3 bikini line. You really can't beat that price at all. Some places charge you $100 for each session! It was a steal & the place is great thus far. Laser is slightly painful but I think I can handle it if I'm hair-free for the rest of my life! YIPPEE!
I also got one for ebay where I paid $7 for a $15 Groupon to buy anything. It's like getting it for 1/2 price. It's freaking great!
I got yet another one for The Body Shop for $20, you get $40 worth of products (if used before 5/31, you get $45).
My friends have all gotten onto the Groupon thing too. We've decide that we'd only purchase a Groupon when it is at least 50% off when we would normally pay. haha Whatever works I guess.
I think you should go & sign up to check it out for yourself. I think you won't regret it one bit. I'm totally hooked!

GUM Soft-Picks
I was given free samples of the GUM® Soft-Picks® from smiley360.com and had a chance to try them out. They are very convenient to use & very easy to carry around with you. Easy to use & I never have to worry about getting food stuck in my teeth anymore when I go out with my friends. No more embarrassing moments. Now I can eat broccoli or popcorn without worrying about stuck foods. This is such a great product. I love it!

This Week's Bargain(s)
CVS Purchase #1
2 Crest Pro-Health 4oz toothpaste (on sale $2.99 get $2 ECB Limit 2)
- 2 $1 MC coupon (P&G mailers)
- used $4 ECB
CVS: Total Out Of Pocket (OOP) = $FREE ($0.28 tax)
Received $4 ECB
CVS Purchase #2 (not pictured but I bought the same Revlon item as in picture 1)
Revlon Age Defying Concealer (75% off, $2.69)
- $2 MC coupon found in 1/15 mailers
CVS: Total Out Of Pocket (OOP) = $0.69 ($0.19 tax)
CVS Purchase #3 (not pictured but I bought the same Neutrogena items as in picture 1)
Neutrogena Loose Powder (50% off, $6.39 different store, so different price)
- $2 online MC coupon
- used $4 ECB (from the 2 Crest purchases)
CVS: Total Out Of Pocket (OOP) = $0.39 ($0.45 tax)
- paid $0.84 from CVS gift card (they gave it to me when I returned 2 items) so my OOP was actually $0.
TIP: I actually purchased these in 2 transactions since I wanted the $2 ECB to come out separately. If you purchased them in 1 transaction, they actually combine the ECB into 1, so it would be one $4 ECB. I wanted 2 - $2 ECB because smaller denominations are easier to use for small purchases.
TIP #2: If you don't use up all your ECB (let's say your purchase was $1.99 but your ECB is for $2), don't let the cashier bully you into buying another item in order for the ECB to go through. They can adjust your ECB to $1.99, so you lose out on $0.01 of your ECB. I've had uninformed cashiers tell me I have to buy something else so that I can use my ECB, which is NOT true. Tell them to adjust the ECB down. Don't be bullied by the cashier.
Cost without coupons/discounts: $15.06
Total Savings (coupons/discounts) : $14.37
Grand Total Out of Pocket (OOP) = $0.69

Marshalls/TJ Maxx
I recently walked into my local Marshalls to see if there are any good deals. They have a lot of clearance items so I made a bee-line to those areas. Bee-line...really isn't a straight line but that's for another day's discussion. I always find really great deals in the coat section. All the stores are trying to get rid of their winter coats since they are already introducting swimwear in January! Crazy. Many of the coats I've found are about 40% the Marshalls discounted price, which means it's at the very least 70-80% off the Retail price!
My recent find:
Free Country Snow/Ski Jacket.
Retail Price: $160
Marshalls Regular Price: $49.99
Marshalls Clearance Price: $29
That's about 80% off the retail price.
Now my dilemma is:
1) Keep the jacket for myself (it's really very cute), or
2) Sell it on ebay for a possibly profit since it's the height of the skiing season
I think I'm keeping this one. :-)

CVS Beauty Club
I saw a little flyer by the Beauty section at CVS last week to join the new CVS Beauty Club. I read the instructions & thought I understood it. You are only allowed to sign up only once. When I brought my beauty products up w/ the ticket to join the club, I'd found out you won't get the 10% off first purchase discount until your NEXT purchase. Boy was I upset. :( It printed out on my receipt and the even worse news...it expires in 3 days! WTH?!? That would mean I had to go back in to use it. I should have known it was a marketing ploy to get you to go back in to buy even more crap that you don't need.
I ended up going back but I didn't buy anything so the coupon is now expired. I had forgotten about all the 75% off products that were in the beauty section. Some turns out to be really awesome deals if you combine your 10% beauty club first purchase discount. Revlon has many nail polishes & lip glosses that starts at $1.25. Rimmel also offers a few 75% eyeshawdows that are quite cheap & if you had printed out the $1 off Rimmel MC coupon from coupons.com awhile back, it makes for even better deals starting at only about $0.15 for the one color eyeshadow. Combine that with the 10% coupon, it could possibly come out to free!
Just remember, try not to buy items that you really don't need or want, unless it comes out to Free AND you can give away to friends or donate it to the local shelter. Otherwise, it's just useless junk building up in your house.
I was fortunate enough to give a whole bunch of stuff as X-mas presents as well as my company's annual gift exchange. It's always nice making others happy.
Happy shopping everyone!
