Aveeno Ageless Vitality
Aveeno Ageless Vitality has some new products out that seems interesting. I think i would like to try it out, but I've found on the internet that they are around $40, which is too expensive for a Fru-Gal like me. So I've found a few coupons & rebates you can use that would be this Fru-Gal approved.
1) go to www.target.com/coupon to search for the $5 off coupon (it's under the Beauty link). This is a Target coupon.
2) go to www.coupons.com to search for the $5 off coupon (it's under the Personal Care link). This is a Manufacturer's Coupon (MC).
3) Go to the Aveeno site & print out your $20 rebate form. It's valid from 5/17 - 7/15.
4) Go out to Target with both coupons (Target & MC) to purchase your item. Target stacks one Target coupon with one MC coupon, making it $10 off. You'll spend about $30 OOP. Then mail out your rebate form making your total OOP to approximately $10!
You might want to hold out & wait for a sale at Target since the coupons doesn't expire until end of June, making your OOP even less.

Here's this week's bargain(s).
Shop-Rite
2 bags of Kettle Chips (sale 2/$5)
- 2 $1 off coupon
RiceWork Chips (sale $2.50)
- $1 off coupon (peelie)
2 cartons of Trop50 Tropicana Juice (sale $1.99)
- 2 $1 off online coupon
2 boxes of Wheatables NutCrisps (sale 2/$5)- 2 $1.50 off online coupon2 boxes Nexcare (sale $1.99)
- 2 $1 off online coupon
Tampax (sale $1.99)
- $2 off coupon
2 bags of BeechNut Let's Grow Cereal (sale $1.34)
- 2 $0.75 off coupon (double coupon w/ overage)*Note: Shop-Rite doubles coupons under $1.00
*Plus $0.10 off for bringing 2 reusable bagsFor this purchase, I'd noticed they overcharged me for the Tropicana juices at $3.99. I always do the estimated cost of my items before I get to the cashier. I brought the signs to Customer Service. She told me it was an old sign so she gave me back to difference. Also, since it was their mistake, they gave me one carton free. For 2 cartons, I was charged a total of $1.99 (the wrong sale price), but I had used 2 $1 off coupons, making the 2nd one free as well! Not all Shop-Rite gives you one item for free if they marked it wrong, but the one I frequent does. They are all standalone supermarkets so they all have different rules.
Shop-Rite: Total Out Of Pocket (OOP) = $7.88
CVS
U by Kotex ($4.99 get $4.99 Extra Care Bucks, limit 1)
- $1 off coupon
Kotex Panyliners box (on sale $1)
- $1 off coupon
Kotex Panyliner bag (on sale $0.85)- $1 off coupon (overage)
*Plus $2 off purchase coupon from CVS survey
CVS: Total Out Of Pocket (OOP) = $1.84 plus $4.99 in Extra Care Bucks.
Total
Cost without coupons/discounts: $35.97
Total Savings (coupons, unexpected discounts) : $26.25!
(the math is off +/- $0.10) on my items since Shop-Rite messed up my order & compensated for it.
Grand Total Out of Pocket (OOP) = $9.72
Plus, $4.99 in CVS Extra Care Bucks for future CVS use.
So, in theory, I really only spent $4.72 total!I'll say this was a successful shopping trip. :)

Being a Fru-Gal
Fru-Gal (pronounced Froo Gal).
Definition of a Fru-Gal:
1. Enjoy the thrill of finding a bargain/deal for a NEEDED item.
WANTED items are always good but make sure you really, really love it.
2. Refusing to pay full price for all items.
Most items are way overpriced. MSRP is just a "suggested price to sell." You are almost always guaranteed that same item will go on sale 2-3 weeks from when they put it out on the floor. Wait for the sale & try to find a coupon to add on for good measure. You will surely get a bargain then.
3. Searching for a coupon or a discount code on the internet.
If not, then you can wait a few more days or a week to search for them. And if all else fails AND you are still thinking about that one specific item, it really means you love it that much, then you can treat yourself (within reason). i.e. Purchasing a $1500 camera is not within reason. Those you will have to do extensive research & cannot be an impulse buy.
4. Buy & Try & Return.
Ensuring you can get full refund of you item, you can always buy it & return it. Try it at home (if it's clothing) to see if you truly love it. Sleep on it for a few days (not literally in the clothing) & see how you feel. If after a week or 2, you are still not sure if you'll really ever use the item, then it's time to return it. Same goes for other things like cameras. Many places (i.e. Costco) have a policy that you can return within a certain time frame so you can try out that expensive camera for a month or 2 to see if you love it. If you've realized you don't even take pictures that often, then it's time to return it. Please do not abuse these return policies otherwise you'll ruin it for the rest of us.
